Turbo Seeder - Adjustment Chart

The settings given here are intended only as general guidelines. You may construct your own chart for the specific seeds and cultivars being sown, but this will get you started. See the hole size chart for a more extensive list of seeds and hole sizes.

Height settings for needle manifolds may be ½ - 1 less than on the chart as the needle manifolds are a bit shorter than other manifolds. Vacuum, vibration, tilt and RPM settings are all variables to take into account for accurate seed sowing. Present only 2-3 layers of seed to the manifold tips for accurate pick up. See Section III C for a detailed explanation of the different adjustments and calibration system. Call Blackmore (800) 874-8660 with any questions.

For sowing more difficult seeds such as raw Begonia and Marigold, refer to the sections V and VI. Where “w brush” is noted, the candy striped brush is to be lowered into the seed inventory tray to wipe the extra seeds off the top of the manifold.
