DON'T THROW THAT PLASTIC AWAY
RECYCLE PLASTIC TRAYS THROUGH BLACKMORE
Don't throw that NUMBER 6 POLYSTYRENE plastic in the dumpster. Blackmore can recycle it. Knock the dirt out of trays and nest them eight rows high on pallets then stretch wrap them. If you can accumulate 12-24 pallets Blackmore will arrange to have them picked up. If you've only a few pallets you can deliver them to Blackmore when picking up other product. New Trays introduced
The unique NEW Blackmore 102 Orphan tray, stk#8873 has an orphan strip of six cells that keeps cuttings attached to the mother tray so cull replacements are at the ready at shipping time. The orphan strip is easily broken off prior to shipping the mother tray. This tray is designed for 25mm Ellepots.
The NEW 72 deep stk#8875 is 2.5 inches deep and designed for 35mm Ellepots. Loose-fill volume is 70cc.

After shutting down the seeding machines for the season, take the time to vacuum clean, blow off and and cover the machine before storage. Also flush the vacuum pump with Brake-Kleen. Use an air gun to blow out the fan and ventilation holes on your vacuum pump(Cylinder & Turbo)and small air compressor (Turbo only). Clean or replace filters and do a complete check up in the summer when you have more time. For the Turbo there is a checklist on the Tech Tips/Parts page for your reference.
Machines sent in for tune ups that are not vacuumed clean will be charged a 1 hour cleaning fee. Also make sure any adhesive from tape is removed from the seed tray area.
